The role of power

The power plays a huge role in government, politics and economics. In my opinion, it just depends on what power is it: destructive or constructive. The constructive force arises when a country draws its culture, political ideals, government programs which aimed at improving people’s lives, their safety. Destructive power is coercion, violence and military action. And as we have seen, this force does not lose the key value in a world where states thus seek to protect their independence. And also, it depends also on whether, in whose hands are strength and power. In my view, a particularly influential, power of international relations and of international economy and politics. In such cases, we assess the impact strength and can reveal whether it is admissible and legitimate since the point of view of the world community.

Elena starts out by outlining the role of power being the means for government, politics and the economy. Comparing the constructive and destructive forces of power. She goes into some examples of her view of constructive and destructive powers the government inflict. Ending with a strong case on whose hands the strength and power resides in.
Personally I liked this view point. It has both sides of view in the text which creates a strong character. Not many can look at both the destructive and constructive points to the government and economy when it comes down to power. I like how the constructive view she shows is an optimistic force for safety and drawing its culture. The destructive point of view shows that she has an open mind to both scenerios. Protection of independence being the key to the destructive point.
To make the argument stronger, Elena can do a couple of things. One would be to bring a visual to the blog like one of positive and negative that the government pushes back and forth with its power. There is also more room for examples of both constructive and destructive points. Such as recently how the government has been constructive in their attempts as well as destructive with their military usage.
In conclusion, I like the comparison of the constructive and destructive view. There can be more examples to make the blog stronger but it is overall a very well written piece that gets the point across of what exactly the writer is trying to get at. I also like that she states her view clearly so it is not intermingled with facts and personal view.
